Resistor Colour Codes
Classification of resistors consists of three main properties. The first two can be taken from the table below using the 4 or 5 band code as appropriate.
- Resistance, measured in ohms,
- Tolerance of the resistance value, shown as a percentage,
- Power handling capacity, measured in watts.
