Together for a Better World

Head over to JOTAJOTI.info for more details about JOTA and JOTI. Chat from home using Scoutlink Webchat. Listen to some sick beats on JOTI Radio.

The third full weekend in October is the Jamboree of the Air (JOTA) and Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI). The last Australian Jamboree had around 11,000 participants, and the recent World Jamboree had more than 40,000. That's nothing compared to JOTA which is the biggest activity in Scouting, with around 2 million participants from over 171 countries.

JOTA-JOTI is a fun and exciting annual experience for all young people in Scouts and Guides. It is a "travel-free" Jamboree that takes place wherever you are in the world.

Historically Scouts and Guides from Sydney's northern beaches have held a combined camp on this weekend where they connect with other Scouts and Guides across Australia and the world using the airwaves and the Internet.

In the spirit of reconciliation we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
